What is priority registration, and who qualifies for it?
  • Priority registration is offered to employers who have established scholarships, partnered in classroom curriculum delivery, or contributed financially to support students' career success.
When does regular registration open, and how does it differ from priority registration?
  • Regular registration opens after the priority registration period and is available to all organizations within our Handshake network.
How is the cost for participating in the job fair determined?
  • The cost is determined by the bidding process required to secure vendors for the fair, as we are a state institution. Therefore, we are unable to provide specific cost details in advance.
What are the payment methods available, and when is payment due to finalize registration?
  • Payment is required by credit card upon receiving the invoice to finalize your registration. Timely payment ensures your participation in the event.
Why is it important to register early for the job fair?
  • Early registration is encouraged as our capacity, determined by venue size, fills up quickly.
How will I receive communication about the job fair, including invitations, invoices, and logistics?
  • All communication regarding career-related events, including invitations, invoices, and logistics, is sent through Handshake. Please ensure your email notifications are enabled to stay informed.
  • Check your notifications in Handshake by clicking on your name in the upper-right corner, then going to User Settings > Notification Preferences.
How does the waitlist process work if the event reaches capacity?
  • If you join the waitlist, you will be notified of any cancellations, with opportunities to register offered in the order requests were received.
  • Once notified you will have a specified number of days to register and submit payment to secure your ‘space’ in the event.
