Champion Oluwatobi Ojo is a senior Economics major and Finance minor at Morgan State University, where he holds a 3.937 GPA and serves as the 2025–2026 Student Regent on the Board of Regents. A proud Clara I. Adams Honors College Scholar and Thurgood Marshall College Fund Scholar, Champion is guided by strong family values and a deep commitment to leadership, service, and equity.
Born in Lagos, Nigeria, he moved to the U.S. at age 10 and has since served the Morgan community through multiple leadership roles, including three years as a Resident Assistant and as a long-time member of Student Government, serving two terms as Senator and one as Comptroller.
He currently serves as Vice President of External Affairs for DAIRE (Diversity and Inclusion in Real Estate) and was named a Center for Financial Advancement Scholar for 2025–2026. Champion is also an active member of the Morgan MILE Leadership Program and the university’s Investment Club, where he continues to deepen his skills in financial analysis, capital markets, and professional development.
Champion was selected for the University of Chicago's EDE program in Summer 2024, and in Summer 2025, he participated in the University of California’s SIEML program, where his team won first place in the case competition.
Outside of academics, he enjoys working out, reading, going on adventures with friends, and playing football, and is passionate about financial empowerment and expanding educational opportunities.
