Class of 1976: We Lit the Flame

The Class of 1976 holds a distinguished place in Morgan history as the first graduating class of Morgan State University. As pioneers of a new era, they helped define the university's vision, spirit, and commitment to excellence. Fifty years later, their legacy continues to shine through their leadership, service, professional achievements, and unwavering dedication to their alma mater. As we celebrate their Golden Anniversary, we honor the class that truly “Lit the Flame”—a flame that continues to inspire generations of Morgan Bears to pursue greatness, uplift their communities, and carry forward the proud tradition of Morgan State University.
