Funding
Prospective students should be aware that there are three types of funding opportunities available for admitted graduate students in the Department of Advanced Studies, Leadership, and Policy. To be considered for funding, applicants must submit a complete application to the School of Graduate Studies by January 15. Only students who receive an official admission offer are eligible to apply for funding. Once you receive your admission decision, you will be invited to apply and are strongly encouraged to submit your funding application right away. The final deadline to apply for graduate student funding is March 1. After which a decision will be made and communicated by the Department Chair.

The department offers three types of funding:
Graduate Research Assistantships
Graduate Teaching Assistantships

- Students interested in receiving funding for the 2025-2026 School year need to apply for funding using this link: https://forms.gle/
NqyuepfMEEFz2TrP9 - To receive funding, you must be admitted to a graduate program in the School of Education and Urban Studies. Review and award of funding will begin on February 15, 2025. Incoming students will need to have applied for their program by January 15, 2025.
