1. I am interested in attending Morgan State University. When and How do I apply?

To apply, go to the Admissions homepage and select the applicable link.

Application Deadlines are as follows:

FALL SEMESTER

Freshman and Transfer Applications  

Priority: November 15 - Decisions are released by February 15

Regular: February 15 - Decisions are released by April 15

Note: Complete applications must be received by November 15 for honors scholarship consideration. Prospective honors students MUST file for FAFSA

International Applications for Fall Semester

December 1 - Decisions are released by March 15

SPRING SEMESTER

Freshman and Transfer Applications 

November 1 - Decisions are released on a rolling basis

International Applications for Spring Semester

August 1 - Decisions are released on a rolling basis

*Rule of thumb says the application process demands that you begin the process of applying 6-10 months in advance of your starting term. Applications submitted after the above deadlines will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Freshman and Transfer Applications

2. Is the application process for military service members different from the regular application process?

No, all applicants follow the same application procedure.

3. Does Morgan State University accept military training as a course credit?

Yes. Morgan State University awards college credit for basic military training. Veteran students can present a valid Record of Military Service/Training (DD Form 214) to transfer-evaluation@morgan.edu for review and consideration.

Consideration is also given to previous educational and military experience from military transcripts that present a grade. Click here for a listing of JST providers by branch. 

4. Does your school accept ACE credit for military experience?

Yes. The student will need to put in an official request for their military transcripts to be submitted to transfer-evaluation@morgan.edu for review and determination.
