BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Darryl L. Williams is a Professor of Practice and currently the Interim Assistant Chair for Administration in the Department of Teacher Education and Professional Development in the School of Education and Urban Studies. In addition, he is the program director of and teaches courses in the Aspiring Leaders Program and the Master of Science Program in Educational Administration and Supervision. Prior to his role, Dr. Williams was the Superintendent of Baltimore County Public Schools and served Montgomery County Public Schools for 25 years as a teacher, assistant principal, principal of a middle school and two high schools, community superintendent, and associate superintendent. He has coached and supervised schools leaders for over 20 years and specializes in school improvement, culture and climate, family and community partnerships, teaching and learning, and leadership development.
