Alumni Spotlights
Degree(s) obtained from the SOE:
Bachelor of Science, Industrial and Systems Engineering
Current Profession and Employer:
Systems Engineer
What do you like most about your current profession?
It’s very flexible and allows me to work on multiple projects at once. I can also use my skills to help others in the world.
Who, from the SOE, had the most impact on you during your time there, and how have they impacted you?
Dr. Talley, Dr. Poindexter.
How did the Mitchell SOE prepare you for your career?
Gave me the tools to network and learn a good foundation to build upon.
What advice would you give to current SOE students?
Things can get really challenging in school but look ahead to the bright future you have. The world needs more minority engineers and you’re one of them. The hard work definitely pays off in the end.
