Dr. Camonia R. Graham-Tutt is the new Associate Dean of the School of Community Health (SCHP) and Policy
Dr. Camonia R. Graham-Tutt is the new Associate Dean of the School of Community Health (SCHP) and Policy at Morgan State University. In this role she will work with the SCHP Dean Kim Dobson Sydnor to manage administrative affairs to include strategic planning and evaluation, policy and procedures development, and overall implementation of the school’s strategic plan. Her duties also include working with the SCHP Department Chairs to facilitate faculty engagement, accountability, support strategic creation of new degree programs, and foster increased research productivity.
With over 15 years of experience in higher education leadership, Graham-Tutt values synergy, working together to bring the best possible educational experience to students every day. Her past accomplishments include serving as Interim Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs for the University of Hawai’i West O’ahu, leading special programs, establishing and implementing 10 years of Student Research and Creative Works Symposiums, degree creation, securing research grants, publishing, and providing professional development on a campus level. Her research interests include community health, health promotion, and developing culturally sensitive prevention programs, particularly for vulnerable populations. At her core she enjoys fostering student research at undergraduate and graduate levels.
Dr. Graham-Tutt graduated with both her Bachelor of Science in Health Education and her Master of Science in Health Education degrees from Baylor University. She graduated with her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Medical Sociology from Howard University, as an Edward A. Bouchet Scholar.
