BS: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Morgan State University, 2011-2014

Amanda Brenner, MSN, RN, PCCN currently serves as a Skills and Simulation Coordinator at Morgan State University and as a clinical float nurse for a local Medstar hospital. She has been a registered nurse since 2014 and has experience working in pediatrics, cardiac step-down, intermediate care, and medical-surgical/telemetry. Amanda also has experience working as a nurse at a military facility, proudly serving our nation's veterans, active duty members and their families. 

Amanda is passionate about enhancing student learning through high-fidelity simulations, while also creating a psychologically safe environment. She believes in incorporating trauma-informed care in her interactions with patients, students and colleagues. As a graduate of Morgan State University, Amanda is grateful to contribute to the development of the next generation of nurses at her alma mater. She strives to inspire students to build confidence, think critically, and approach patient care with empathy, cultural humility, and professionalism.
