The Office of Residence Life & Housing
Welcome to Off-Campus Housing Services (OCH)
The Morgan State University Office of Residence Life & Housing provides off campus housing information to members of the MSU community looking for a place to live near our campus. We are here to help faculty, staff and students who do not reside in University-managed on-campus housing make well-informed decisions that enable them to enjoy a positive off-campus living experience.
Important Application/Assignment Information
Currently, we have a very high number of students applying for housing via the waitlist application. Unfortunately, as a result of this high demand, housing will only be available to a limited number of students from the waitlist. Additionally, we officially closed the returning student’s waitlist application on July 5th.
Should university managed housing become available, we will contact waitlisted students in the order of their placement on the waitlist. Given the limited availability, it is strongly suggested that you begin to actively secure other housing arrangements. To assist you in this process, below you’ll find some suggested apartment complexes. Each is designed for student housing, and in many cases already has Morgan State University student residents at the property. For added convenience, all of the complexes are part of the University’s shuttle service network for easy transport to and from campus. You will need to contact these facilities directly regarding available housing, and you will be required to rent/lease directly with the facility. Considering the housing options provided below are off-campus facilities, we recommend all MSU students residing off-campus to become acquainted with our Off-Campus Housing Services (OCH). Visit OCH online for ample resources, checklists, and a general “living off-campus 101” guide to make your off-campus living a positive experience. Should you receive housing from any of the following facilities, please be sure to remove your name from the waitlist:
