Xuetao Li is an international student from Xinjiang, China. He was admitted to the Bioenvironmental Science Ph.D. Program of Morgan State University in 2024, and works with Dr. Ming Liu at MSU Patuxent Environmental and Aquatic Research Lab. His research focuses on shellfish genetics and breeding, particularly on applying genetic approaches to improve the heat tolerance of soft-shell clams. He loves sports and music, such as badminton and pop.
