AP, IB and CLEP

AP, IB, Cambridge, CLEP, and other forms of Prior Learning Credit

The Transfer Evaluation and Articulation Team is responsible for the evaluation of credit from prior learning, which includes Advanced Placement (AP), Cambridge International Exam (A/AS Level), College Level Examination Program (CLEP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and scores for all Morgan State University students.

If you have taken any other form of non-traditional credit, please contact us if you have questions regarding the acceptability of the credit.

AP, IB, Cambridge, and CLEP

Morgan State University accepts AP, IB, Cambridge, and CLEP scores and will award credits based on the minimum required scores for each test.

If you want your AP, IB, Cambridge, and CLEP test scores considered for credit toward your degree, you must submit your official score reports to the Undergraduate Admissions Office. Credit can not be awarded from an official high school transcript. Once received, your official score report will be evaluated, and credit will be awarded based on the following guidelines:
