Textbooks in Alternative Format
1. Any student requiring textbooks in alternative formats may be able to purchase textbooks in e-format.
2. If not available in alternative format, The University Bookstore and Student Disability Support Services (SDSS) will work together to contact the publishers for the required text. Many publishers require proof of purchase before supplying alternative formats, so be prepared to provide a receipt.
3. In addition to purchasing the textbooks, the Maryland Accessible Textbook Program may be an option. SDSS can share the process when you register for reasonable accommodations.
