Ms. Gillian Silver is the Director of the Office of Research Administration. She also is the Associate Director for Administration of the Morgan State University ASCEND Center for Biomedical Research and the Research Center for Minority Institutions (RCMI@Morgan) Center for Urban Health Disparities Research and Innovation. She serves as the Finance Coordinator for the International Collaboration for Participatory Research. 

Her past experience includes serving as the Manager of the Johns Hopkins-based Mid-Atlantic Public Health Training Center; Coordinator of Public Health Practice at the Morgan State University School of Community Health and Policy; Manager of Educational and Research Programs at the Association of Schools of Public Health; and she also worked at the Women’s and Children’s Health Policy Center at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. 

Ms. Silver received her MPH from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, is a Certified Research Administrator (CRA) and Certified Pre-Award Research Administrator (CPRA) through the Research Administrators Certification Council, and is Certified in Public Health (CPH) through the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
