Get Involved

Our Action Plan for Energy Savings is grounded in team work recommended by energy efficient experts (i.e., U.S. Department of Energy). Our collaborative approach consists of experts from Morgan State University (MSU), Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE), and United States Department of Energy. Our leadership team from MSU are from the Office of the President, Division of Finance and Management, Division of Academic Affairs, Division of Research and Economic Development, Division of Student Affairs, and Division of Institutional Advancement. 

STUDENTS

Undergraduate and Graduate Students are key components of our Energy Savings Initiatives at Morgan State University. Whether it is majoring in STEM disciplines, engaging in green courses and internships, or creating or participating in green projects, students can contribute to and benefit from our Energy Savings Initiatives.

FACULTY

Using green projects and topics as foundation for teaching and research, members of the faculty use support student success, retention, graduation, and professional knowledge, skills, and dispositions. By incorporating green initiatives in their work, members of the faculty at Morgan State University are ensuring that students gain environmental literacy; and discovering innovative ways to address environmental challenges at the local, state, national, and international levels.

STAFF

Staff at Morgan State University are strongly committed to green initiatives. They purchase sustainable office supplies, recycle, sponsor sustainable food initiatives, and encourage all members of the community to practice sustainability. We thank members of the staff and their commitment to the green vision of Morgan State University.
