Why Morgan State University is Working to Add a Medical School to the Campus
In an effort to continue serving the urban population Morgan State University is going to be constructing a College of Osteopathic Medicine. A doctor of osteopathic medicine degree, a D.O. is the degree the medical school will offer rather than an M.D. degree. People who study Osteopathic medicine and gain degrees have the same certification to practice medicine as graduates of other medical schools, but the approach they take to treating patients is more of a holistic one.
Morgan State University Takes Next Step in Creating $150M Science Center
Morgan State University is one step closer to creating a new science complex after entering into a $20.1 million agreement to design the facility. The nation’s largest Black-owned architecture firm, Moody Nolan, will design the 246,435-square-foot science complex.
