University President Speaks on Morgan State Being an Anchor Institution, Significance of HBCUs
Dr. David Wilson, the 10th president of Morgan State joins Dr. Kaye to discuss the university’s role as an anchor intuition in Baltimore, the impact of HBCUs in the nation and MSU’s purchase of the former Lake Clifton High School where officials plan to build Morgan’s first modern satellite campus.

Morgan State University’s School of Global Journalism Communication (SGJC) announced that Dr. Karsonya “Kaye” Wise Whitehead, an award-winning radio host, opinion writer, author, and professor is the recipient of the 2021 Vernon Jarrett Medal for Journalistic Excellence.
Buttigieg visits Morgan State University
U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg toured one of Morgan State University’s trailblazing research facilities Wednesday. During his visit, which also included a town hall in the school’s Center for the Built Environment and Infrastructure Studies, Buttigieg tested, among other things, Maryland’s only driving simulator that took him from I-95 to the Baltimore Convention Center. The program is being used to study things such as reaction times and human-computer interaction.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg visited Morgan State University in Baltimore to see the work that his department funded for environmental and infrastructure studies.Buttigieg was in Baltimore to highlight the president's investments in infrastructure.
