Spring Tour | Morgan State University Choir Performs in Three Major Texas Cities
Every spring the Morgan State University Singers, the choir’s travel group, travel to share their melodious and harmonic sound with the world. This year the choir toured three of the largest cities in Texas Dallas, Austin and Houston from March 17 through March 19.
Morgan State Expands Research Capabilities with 2 New Centers
With the release of Maryland Gov. Wes Moore’s fiscal year 2024 budget, Morgan State University has secured an additional $6.8 million in state funding to support the launch of two new research centers that will develop and drive innovation in the design and fabrication of semiconductors and address the challenges facing public school education.
Morgan State University Secures Nearly $7M for Research Centers
Two new research centers are coming to Morgan State University thanks to funding from the state. The university secured $6.8 million for Morgan’s Center for Research and Education in Microelectronics and the National Center for the Elimination of Educational Disparities. Both centers will employ up to 25 new faculty members.
