Since opening in 2023, with the support of a $3.1-million annual allocation from the State of Maryland, the Center for Research and Education in Microelectronics — located in the Mitchell Engineering Building of Morgan’s School of Engineering — has allowed Morgan students to examine numerous ways to apply microelectronics technology to improve lives, develop world-class products and solve complex problems.
