A Baltimore man who found the act of forgiveness key to his mental health -- and his survival -- shares his story on the world stage. Morgan State University professor Darryl Green was selected to speak at an international conference in Israel to share his story of forgiving his brother's killer.
American Airlines Director Daryl Dorsey Fosters Inclusion at Home and Abroad
If there’s a thread that runs through all of Daryl Dorsey’s work as director and senior attorney for American Airlines—managing international labor, employment and pension issues; participating in diversity, equity and inclusion subcommittees; and mentoring colleagues of color—it’s his commitment to making people feel welcomed. Dorsey attended Morgan State University, a historically Black college and university, and went on to the University of Baltimore Law School.

A Black Artist’s Thurgood Marshall Replaces Portrait of a Likely Enslaver
There were few portraits of Black historical figures on the walls of the Maryland Senate building in Annapolis. The omission did not escape Sen. William C. Smith Jr. (D-Montgomery). Smith joined Morgan State University alum Ernest Shaw Jr., an artist and teacher from West Baltimore, to unveil a painting of a young Thurgood Marshall, also born in Baltimore.
