New Education Law Provides Millions in Funding to Help Teacher Shortage
A new Maryland law is on the books to address critical teacher shortages in the state. Officials hope it will be in place in time to start making a difference in the fall of 2023. The law will also set aside up to $20,000 to help teacher interns graduate and land jobs. That's a key feature for schools like Morgan State University.
