MD Lawmakers Consider Plan to Tackle State Teacher Shortage

Maryland is among the many states dealing with a teacher shortage. The Moore administration is asking state lawmakers to approve a program intended to encourage more people to enter the teaching profession and keep teachers in the classroom longer. Morgan State University is among those in higher education proactively addressing this issue.
