Physical Campus Closed - Jan. 28–30

As the University continues efforts to restore full campus accessibility—including transportation and auxiliary services—following the recent winter storm, Morgan State University officials, out of an abundance of caution, have decided to close its physical campus from Wednesday, January 28, through Friday, January 30, 2026. However, the University will remain operational.

Academic Instruction
All classes will be conducted remotely. Students should check Canvas for course-specific updates and any direct communications from Academic Affairs.

Work Operations
Employees are expected to telework where possible. Essential employees should report to work as directed by their supervisors.

Events and Services
All events and activities scheduled for Wednesday, January 28, through Friday, January 30, are canceled. University Dining Services will operate on a brunch schedule.

Due to ongoing weather-related conditions, Morgan State University will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

All classes, events, and activities scheduled for tomorrow are canceled. University dining services will operate on a brunch schedule. Essential employees should report to work as directed by their supervisors.

The University will continue to monitor campus conditions and provide an update regarding Wednesday’s opening. Please remain safe during these extreme weather conditions.

Campus Closure Notice - Jan. 24-26

Due to forecasted heavy snowfall expected to impact the Baltimore region, Morgan State University will be closed beginning Saturday, January 24, at 5 p.m., through Monday, January 26, 2026.

All classes, events, and activities scheduled during this period are canceled. University dining services will operate on a brunch schedule. Essential employees should report to work as directed by their supervisors.

The University will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide updates as needed.
