Dr. Osuagwu is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Assistant Director of the Cybersecurity Assurance and Policy (CAP) Center.

Dr. Osuagwu has a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with an additional Neuroengineering concentration and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also has an M.A. and B.A. in Physics with a Mathematics concentration and a B.A. in Psychology with concentrations in Business, Computer Science, and Physics. 

His research interests include but are not limited to artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, biologically-inspired computing, quantum computing, neuromorphic circuitry, secure Non-Von Neumann computer architectures, cognition and computation in the human brain, Brain Machine Interfaces, emergent systems and phenomena and reverse engineering, vulnerability research.
