Welcome to the Morgan State University’s Commencement Awards page. We are pleased to supply you with previous award recipients of the Iva G. Jones Medallion Emblem, Dr. McIntyre International Award, The President’s Second Mile Award, and The President’s Award for Exceptional Creative Achievement.

• The Dr. Iva G. Jones Medallion Emblem

  Annually, colleagues, employing University-approved criteria, select an individual to wear the Emblem.

• The Dr. Sandye Jean McIntyre, II International Award

  The Dr. Sandye Jean McIntyre, II, International Award, a sash designed and tailored specifically for this award, is inspired by the diplomatic sash customarily worn for formal occasions by ambassadors, consuls and other dignitaries.

• The President’s Second Mile Award

  This award will go to that member of the graduating class who has made the most outstanding contribution to the campus community during his or her undergraduate days.

• The President’s Award for Exceptional Creative Achievement

  This award will go to that member of the graduating class who has made an exceptional contribution of a creative nature.
