Charlotte W. Newcombe Scholarship for Mature Students
The Center for Continuing and Professional Studies has been awarded $50,000 from the Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation to establish the Newcombe Scholarships for Mature Students. The inaugural cohort was selected in Fall 2022. Founded in 1979, the Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation is a private foundation located in Princeton, NJ that was created to provide scholarship support for Mature Students, Students with Disabilities, and selected populations of students with financial need.
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be:
- age 25 or older
- pursuing their first bachelor's degree, who have completed at least half the requirements toward their intended degree
- enrolled full-time or part-time enrollment
- maintaining a GPA of 2.50 or higher
- in financial need
