Zamalia Bennett is a K–12 educator, interventionist, and curriculum specialist with over 20 years of experience in public education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Morgan State University and a Master of Arts in Legal, Ethical, and Historical Studies from the University of Baltimore.
She spent two decades with Baltimore City Public Schools as a classroom teacher and interventionist. During that time concurrently managed supplemental educational programs across Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Prince George’s County schools. Her work has focused on curriculum design, instructional support, and expanding access to high-quality educational opportunities for students.
Since joining the CEAMLS team in 2023, Ms. Bennett has led efforts to introduce students to Artificial Intelligence through developmentally appropriate, engaging instructional experiences. She also designs and delivers professional development workshops - training teachers to integrate AI concepts into their classrooms in practical and accessible ways.
Her expertise in curriculum design, instructional leadership, and teacher development positions her to support initiatives that advance AI literacy, STEM education, and learning opportunities in K–12 schools.
