Center for Equitable Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Systems
Outreach
At the Center for Equitable AI and Machine Learning Systems (CEAMLS), we believe that creating a just and inclusive future begins with investing in people—especially those often excluded from technological advancements. Our Outreach initiatives are designed to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and real-world impact, equipping communities with the tools, knowledge, and inspiration to engage meaningfully with artificial intelligence.
Whether it’s empowering young minds through literacy, sparking STEM curiosity in K–12 classrooms, or fostering dialogue between science and society, CEAMLS is committed to building pathways for equitable participation in the AI-driven world.

Learn easy, hands-on ways to bring AI into your classroom, built with teachers in mind. Using Apple tools—like iPads, Apple Pencil, and classroom-friendly apps—you’ll learn simple, practical ways to design AI-powered, challenge-based lessons that connect to what you already do and make learning more engaging for students.
Get comfortable with the basics of artificial intelligence.
Build ready-to-use, student-centered projects that boost creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Professional development sessions are scheduled alongside Baltimore City Public Schools’ PD calendar to fit smoothly into your year, and the hybrid format means some sessions are in-person, while others are virtual for added flexibility.
You’ll also earn $1,000 for completing the program.
