Omolade Ola is a Data Scientist at the Center for Equitable Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Systems (CEAMLS) at Morgan State University, a multidisciplinary research center dedicated to advancing responsible, transparent, and equitable artificial intelligence. Her work focuses on developing machine learning systems that address algorithmic bias, improve fairness in AI models, and promote ethical data practices in emerging technologies. Through her research, she contributes to CEAMLS’s mission of ensuring that artificial intelligence systems are designed and deployed with equity, accountability, and social impact in mind.

Omolade earned her Master of Science in Advanced Computing in 2023 and her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2019 from Morgan State University.

Her research interests span algorithmic fairness, computer vision, and responsible AI development. She has worked on projects aimed at improving fairness evaluation in machine learning systems, including the development of balanced datasets designed to assess demographic representation and reduce bias in AI models. Her work contributes to broader efforts to build trustworthy AI systems that perform reliably across diverse populations and real-world environments.
