Justus began his educational journey at Prince George’s Community College, where he studied communications before transferring to Morgan State University. There, he majored in Strategic Communication and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from the School of Global Journalism and Communication.

Professionally, Justus has cultivated a dynamic career that spans Wall Street and beyond. He began in the fast-paced world of AdTech, managing national campaigns for industry giants such as Mattel, Snapchat, and Amazon. He later transitioned into recruiting, where he was committed to building equitable pipelines and creating access for minority applicants. Most recently, he has served as an operations manager for a restaurant group, applying his leadership and communication strengths in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment. His ability to merge strategy with storytelling makes him a standout in communication, marketing, and brand development.

A proud Morgan alum, Justus’s connection to the university is deeply rooted in childhood memories of Homecoming and a lifelong love of learning. As one of six siblings, he brings patience, empathy, and a collaborative spirit to every endeavor. While at Morgan, he served as a resident assistant during the COVID-19 pandemic and regularly supported campus-wide
testing efforts. Now, as a graduate, he remains committed to giving back and mentoring students as they pursue their own academic and professional journeys.
