Mr. Ryan Mobley is the Training and Communications Coordinator for the Office of Research Administration (ORA). In this role, he is responsible for developing grant management curricula and providing the requisite training for faculty members and staff. This training will be primarily focused on grant management processes at Morgan State University. In addition, in coordination with ORA staff, Mr. Mobley will provide updates on new processes to the University via email blasts and newsletters.

Prior to joining the ORA, Mr. Mobley served as a Senior Program Administrator for two major NIH-funded cooperative agreements: ASCEND and RCMI (from 2015 to 2022). In this role, Mr. Mobley’s duties included processing administrative requests, authoring/presenting training sessions on the Banner finance system, onboarding new staff, and budget management. Prior to that, Mr. Mobley served as an intern in the Procurement Department, Morgan State University.

Mr. Mobley has a passion for education and looks forward to empowering faculty/staff to feel confident in the administration of their funded awards.
