Establishing a New Website

For School Units (departments/centers/institutes)
If your unit falls under a school, please contact your assigned web publisher first for assistance. If you do not know who that contact is, you may contact websupport@morgan.edu to inquire if there is an assigned web publisher for your unit.

For Academic or Administrative Units
The web team can assist in establishing general academic or administrative sites on the university's Web Content Management System (CMS). Please contact websupport@morgan.edu, and be sure to carbon copy (CC) your supervisor (dean, vice president, department chair, etc).

For Faculty
Each academic unit should have a faculty & staff index page/listing. If you wish to create research site, please be sure to contact your department chair and/or assigned web publisher (if one has been assigned). If you do not know who that contact is, you may contact websupport@morgan.edu to inquire if there is an assigned web publisher for your unit.

For Grant-related websites/centers
If you are building a website that is funded by a grant and may consider using an outside developer/vendor, please be sure to consult with the web team PRIOR to making any external communications or commitments. You may contact us at websupport@morgan.edu.

Requirements for All Sites
