Welcome to the Division of Student Affairs at Morgan State University—where our mission is rooted in advancing the holistic development of every student who calls Morgan home.

These values shape how we engage with our students, support their growth, and create an inclusive environment where every Bear can thrive academically, socially, and personally.

Since joining this vibrant community in November 2022, I’ve had the joy of learning from our students, connecting with our talented staff, and partnering with faculty and colleagues across the University. Whether attending student events, listening to student voices, or advocating for resources, I am continually inspired by the passion and potential of our student body. Their experiences, identities, and aspirations drive our commitment to ensure that Morgan is a place where they know they belong.

The Division of Student Affairs works across departments and disciplines to ensure that students are well-supported and well-prepared—not only to succeed in college but to lead the world beyond it. We are building a nationally recognized model for inclusive engagement and student wellbeing “The BEARprint”— offering programs and services that empower students to overcome challenges, seize opportunities, and become agents of change in their communities.

Every day, I am reminded that this work is both a privilege and a joy. I cherish every opportunity to connect with students and their families, to celebrate their achievements, and to help remove barriers to their success. It is my honor to serve alongside a dedicated team that is committed to shaping a transformative student experience rooted in care, creativity, and community.
