I study how the future of work is impacted by technological change as well as economic and political sociology. My current research projects include (1) the future of work and the rise of ChatGPT using a Marxist and Ricardian lens, (2) the Venezuela/ Guyana border conflict using world-systems theory, (3) the impact of related organizations on hospital executive compensation, (4) geopolitical impact on Hong Kong and Singapore’s status as global cities, (5) cybersecurity awareness among vulnerable communities in the Baltimore area, (6) promoting racial diversity in the AI workforce.
