INSS Undergraduate Electronic Override Request

There are several reasons why students request overrides into INSS courses, and they are primarily either the course is "at capacity" or the student does not have the designated prerequisite(s) successfully completed. Overrides are approved based only on the following guidelines/restrictions

• NO LONGER AVAILABLE Capacity Overrides - are only approved when there are no other sections available for the student to register for (seating capacities in all other sections will be reviewed)

• Prerequisite(s) Overrides - Issued to graduating seniors and students whose majors are outside of the School of Business and Management, but their curriculums require the course. Your override may still be denied based on the significance of the missing prerequisite to the course or the number of credits successfully completed.

NO OVERRIDES ARE EVER GIVEN FOR INSS.141 UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

OVERRIDES FOR WEB-BASED SECTIONS OF INSS.220(SSCM.220), INSS.360 AND SSCM.328 ARE ONLY GIVEN IF THE STUDENT IS GRADUATING AND IS ABLE TO PROVIDE DOCUMENTARY PROOF THAT THE STUDENT CAN NOT TAKE ANY OTHER OPEN SECTION, EITHER DUE TO WORK OR CONFLICTING SCHEDULE WITH OTHER COURSES. YOU WILL NEED TO SUBMIT THE PDF FILE FROM DEGREE WORKS IF YOU ARE A GRADUATING SENIOR.
