Dr. Shokouhian is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Morgan State University. He earned his Ph.D. in structural engineering from Tsinghua University in 2015. He conducts integrated experimental and analytical research on innovative structures and high performance materials. Dr. Shokouhian has been principal and co-principal investigator on many projects funded by federal and state agencies exceeding $1M. He published more than 55 peer-reviewed journal articles, conference proceedings papers, and technical reports. He has served as editorial board member and reviewer for more than 15 international and national refereed journals.
