Foundation & Advancement Services

The Morgan State University Foundation, Inc. is a separately incorporated non-profit organized for the purpose of promoting the growth, progress, and general welfare of Morgan State University. Gifts to the Morgan State University Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Advancement Services supports the stewardship, fundraising and relationship management goals of the University by maintaining and reporting on essential information about alumni, donors, friends and prospects.

Key services provided by the Advancement Services includes:

• prospect research
• maintaining demographic & biographic information on alumni
• donors & friends
• collecting
• disbursing & processing private donations
• producing tax receipts
• creating acknowledgement letters
• providing internal & external reports regarding fundraising to internal & external audiences.
