Dr. Glenda L. Lindsey  is the recipient of the Outstanding Dietitian of the year 2018-2019 recognized by the Maryland Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.  

She is  Co-Director of the Inspiration Factory which is inclusion of  her individual and group nutritional counseling private practice business. In addition under the Inspiration Factory , she  has planed , implemented and facilitated two summer nutrition  programs for urban teens.

She is also currently serving as The Public Policy Coordinator for the Executive Board of The Maryland Academy  of Nutrition and Dietetics. In this position she is responsible for state and federal advocacy for nutrition and health legislation. 

Dr. Lindsey served as a private consultant for the Y of Central Maryland Head Start Program for Baltimore County and she is currently a consultant for the Focused  Achievement Starts Today (Fast- Mentoring and tutoring Company coordinating master classes and tutoring sessions for students nationwide.

As a researcher, Dr. Lindsey has participated the Diabetes Guidelines Usage and Impact on Care Study from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics concerning pre-diabetes patients as well several other grants. 

Recently, she received a Healthy for Life 20 by 20 grant, a flagship initiative between Aramark, and the American Heart Association. She is also a member of the Morgan State University Entrepreneurial  Alumni Chapter. She is currently a mentor for several Morgan State University Students. Lastly, she has spoken at several conferences and universities on nutrition and policy.
