Grant Success Story

Morgan State

Send Us a Grant-Related Success Story!

Do you have a story to tell us about how your grant helped a Morgan student to explore the world, or get into graduate school, or become a highly successful professional? Or do you have a story to tell us about how your grant empowered the community to solve a pressing issue?

Grants help Morgan with achieving the coveted R1 status (Morgan’s Strategic Goal 3). But there is more to grants. They also help with achieving other strategic goals of Morgan, including enhancing student success and well-being (Goal 1), implementing faculty ascendancy and staff development initiatives (Goal 2), expanding and improving the campus-wide infrastructure to support operational excellence and increase overall institutional capacity (Goal 4), serving as the premier anchor institution for Baltimore City and beyond (Goal 5), and accelerating global education initiatives and enhancing Morgan’s international footprint (Goal 6).

This competition focuses on Goals 1 and 5. Send us a short story (500 words or fewer) about how your grant made an impact on these goals. One winner will receive a $250 cash award. And your story will be featured in various presentations (with proper attribution).
