The AASA Aspiring Superintendents Academy® for Female Leaders

The Academy brings together women who are on the path to the superintendency to build knowledge and confidence in their ability to lead. The goal of this unique opportunity is to create the time and space for learning, connection, and introspection. Directing the Academy are female superintendents with demonstrated expertise leading innovative school districts with a record of improving learning for all students. Individuals are selected based on their contributions to education and potential to impact K-12 education.

I am looking forward to enhancing my leadership capabilities, strengthening my connections and professional network, collaborating with other like-minded female leaders in hopes of ultimately transforming K-12 education as an advocate and educator.  I have an unwavering belief that every student, regardless of their background, abilities, or circumstances, deserves an educational experience that is both enriching and equitable; I believe that this academy along with my education at Morgan State will strengthen my skills to assure just that.
