Vice President for Student Affairs Student Advisory Council

Purpose

The Vice President for Student Affairs Student Advisory Council (VPSA- SAC)  is a newly formed body designed to foster intentional and ongoing dialogue between students and the Vice President for Student Affairs. It serves as a collaborative space where student voices directly inform the priorities, services, and initiatives of the Division of Student Affairs.

While not a governing entity, the council plays a vital role in amplifying student perspectives on issues of campus life, wellbeing, belonging, and student success.

Council Goals [AACEE]

• Advocate for the evolving needs and priorities of all students, especially those historically underrepresented.
• Advise the Vice President and Student Affairs Leadership Team on student-centered policies, programs, and concerns.
• Collaborate on the design and execution of student-focused initiatives and engagement opportunities.
• Enhance transparency and communication between the student body and Student Affairs leadership.
• Elevate student voices to shape the out-of-classroom experience at Morgan State.
