How to Apply

All applications must include the following materials:

  • Fill out and submit an Application Form
  • Resume
  • Unofficial Transcripts
  • Personal Statement of Interest (not to exceed 500 words)

Application Form

All students applying for the MSU PEARL 2025 Summer Internship Program must fill out the application. Applicants who do not complete the form will not be considered.

Personal Statement

Your personal statement should highlight your experience and interest in marine and coastal studies, your academic and career goals, and your interest in this internship program. 

Your statement should be no longer than 500 words.

Academic Transcript

Each applicant must submit an academic transcript as part of their application. The transcripts do not need to be official, but need to clearly indicate the student's name, college or university, coursework taken, and the grade received for each course. Applicants may submit their transcripts to PEARL-Internship@morgan.edu

All application materials must be received by 
11:59 pm (EST) on March 1, 2026 for best consideration!

Estimated Timeline

• March 1, 2026 - Applications Due
• March 27, 2026 - Decision Notification to Applicants
• April 3, 2026 - Applicant Acceptance Date
