Dr. Lurline Whittaker
A lifelong scholar, Dr. Whittaker earned a B.S. from Tuskegee University, an M.S. from the University of Illinois, an MPH from Johns Hopkins University, and a Ph.D. from Penn State. Dr. Whittaker spent over 25 years teaching at Morgan State University, where she served as Chair of the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences.

Transportation will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis for those wishing to attend the funeral service on Saturday, September 27. The bus will depart from behind Morgan State University’s Carl J. Murphy Fine Arts Center at 7:00 a.m.
Transportation Cost
A donation of $40 to the Earl S. Richardson Scholarship Fund is requested from those reserving a bus seat. Checks should be made payable to the Morgan State University Foundation, with “Earl S. Richardson” noted on the memo line.

Dr. Clayton C. Stansbury, Jr.
Dr. Stansbury began his service to Morgan in 1967 as a Psychological Counselor in the University Counseling Center. Over the years, he went on to serve as Assistant Dean, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, Chair of the Department of Psychology, and Director of the University Honors Program. Dr. Stansbury retired in 1996
Elmer "Ted" Murray
Elmer "Ted" Murray taught Swimming and Physical Education at Morgan State University for many years. He was the brother-in-law of Dr. Iantha Tucker, a distinguished Professor Emeritus of Dance and Health Education, and the uncle of Mr. Thaddeus Price, who currently serves as Coordinator of the Academic Improvement Mandate Program in the Office of Student Success and Retention.
Dr. William Lupton
Dr. Lupton retired from Morgan State with over 20 years of service as a faculty member in the Computer Sciences department. He was the husband of Monica Lupton, who retired from Morgan as the Director of the Murphy Fine Arts Center.

Mr. Simmons was a Groundskeeper for Morgan for more than three years.
Mr. Joe Bell Jr.
Mr. Bell retired from Morgan State with over 17 years of service. He was the brother of Garris Smith, who retired from the University in 2021, and Anthony Bell, who is currently an employee in the Division of Information Technology.

Dr. Turner retired from Morgan's Graves School of Business & Management after an impressive 40 years of service.
