Applying as an incoming Freshman

Entering freshmen who have submitted a complete application to Morgan State University by the Office of Undergraduate Admission & Recruitment posted early deadline, and have been officially admitted to the university shall be eligible to apply to the Clara I. Adams Honors College. Please note we do not offer Spring Admission. 

Freshman Application Deadline Extension.

Due to recent severe weather conditions experienced across many regions, including school closures, power outages, and related disruptions, the Clara I. Adams Honors College has extended the Freshman application deadline to February 13.

This extension is intended to ensure that prospective students have adequate time and access to submit a complete application that reflects their best academic work.

We appreciate your patience and understanding and encourage all applicants to take advantage of this additional time.

The following Criteria will be used to determine your eligibility for the CIA-Honors College:

• Maintain a High School GPA of 3.8 and above
• Graduate from High School with a minimum of 10% more credits than their state requirement or international equivalent
• Exemplify the Pillars of the Honors College which include Academic Excellence, Experiential Advantage, and Impactful Service
