VA Benefits

New First-Time Students to Military Benefits

If you are a first-time student veteran, spouse, or dependent wishing to use VA Educational benefits, you MUST first apply with the Department of Veterans Affairs using the www.va.gov weblink. 

Once you have been approved for your benefits and you are in possession of your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) you can complete the Military Funding Request form for processing.

Currently Enrolled Students using Military Benefits

If you are a continuing student veteran, spouse, or dependent and have used VA Educational benefits with us in the previous term, and want to be certified for the current or upcoming terms complete the Military Funding Request form today!

Maryland National Guard Members

If you believe that you may be eligible for the MD National Guard State Tuition Waiver, contact your education liaison for more information or click here for details. 

Army Ignited Federal Tuition Assistance

If you are a soldier in the Army and wish to utilize Federal Tuition Assistance to fund your courses, first you need to ensure you are in the Army Ignited system by going to the Army Ignited portal 2.0 and setting up your profile. 

After your TA request has been approved, send your TA request award letter to veterans@morgan.edu so it can be added to your file.
