Summer Programs

The University Health Center (UHC) is located in the Woolford Infirmary, and hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The University Health Center is staffed with primary care providers and nurses, with the principal responsibility to provide/facilitate emergency health care and diagnostic services to eligible Morgan students. During the summer, the University Health Center will facilitate emergency health care for individuals participating in summer programs who visit the Health Center.

In an effort to ensure quality healthcare to all summer program participants and limit liability to the University, each Summer program participant must have the required Health Form and a Parental Consent Form (received from Summer Programs). Program Directors are responsible for obtaining health and emergency information for each program participant that must be filed in the University Health Center two (2) weeks prior to the first day of the program.

When bringing the child to the University Health Center for triage services, the Summer program's designated representative must bring the completed and signed Health Form and Parental Consent Form. Program participants will be seen as a courtesy and can only receive triage services in the Health Center since they are not Morgan students, and are not covered by the University’s Health Insurance. They will be referred to their Primary Care Provider (PCP) if need be.
