Job Postings
Morgan State University Center for Career Development Office can help you recruit and engage students using our career management system called eBear. eBear gives you the opportunity to post jobs and fill internships, list part-time or full-time positions. eBear enables you to review resumes of students matching your employment criteria. When your company has an opening for full-time or part-time employment, an internship, or a seasonal job, you can post the opportunity on our website. Many Morgan State University students and alumni visit the website for career planning information.

Employer eBear  powered by Symplicity
Log in HERE  to create an account and post a job. After you create your account you will then be placed in our "Holding Bin" which is an electronic holding place that gives us the opportunity to research the employer. You will then receive an email that you have been accepted or rejected. If accepted you can then go into the system and finish your profile, post additional full-time and part-time positions, co-op opportunities, internships, schedule an information table, request on-campus recruitment schedules and review the calendar of all our upcoming events.

Making Your Internship/Job Posting More Appealing to Candidates

Tip: Make your job postings descriptive and informative, yet succinct. Students want to know what they will be doing, what technology will be available, and what skills will be used. Be specific and realistic, otherwise, a top candidate may lose interest.

On-Campus Recruiting

On-campus recruitment (OCR) provides employers with the opportunity to interview for internships, co-op and full-time employment for graduating students. Recruiters can interview up to 13 applicants per schedule during peak recruiting periods, mid-September through December and begin the end of January through April. We can accommodate up to 4 recruiters on a given day and offer 30, 45 or 60-minute interview schedules.

  • Please contact our office at least one month prior to your campus visit to reserve interview rooms. Although we are able to schedule with less notice, a longer lead time allows us to adequately publicize your on-campus events.
  • We encourage you to host an Information Table to promote your organization and your employment opportunities.
  • You will receive confirmation of your on-campus interview dates.
  • Please submit your request through eBear.

Interview Schedules

The Center for Career Development only offers open schedule formats. Standard interview schedules are available in 30, 45, or 60-minute increments. Customized interview time slots can be arranged prior to candidate interview sign-up.  Interviews at the CCD are generally held between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Open schedules provide the opportunity for any student that meets your established criteria to select interview time slots on a first-come, first-served basis. Students should ideally have 30 days to sign-up. Two days prior to your OCR date, eBear will bundle and email your schedule and the submitted resumes. If you have difficulty downloading your resumes, contact the Recruitment Coordinator for assistance.

* Please note that all on-campus interviews are conducted using an open schedule format. Students sign-up on a first-come, first-served basis, dependent upon employer specified criteria (in eBear) such as degree, major, graduation date, and visa status.

Advertising Your Visit
Email a prepared flyer at least three weeks in advance of your event. We can also post on social media, please send a blurb (160 characters) and a suitable picture (jpeg).
