Middle School Summer Transportation Initiative

Morgan State University's National Transportation Center is offering a free summer program for middle-school students to introduce them to opportunities through careers in transportation.

The 2018 MSSTI takes place from July 2 to July 27 and starts at 8:30 a.m.

The four-week week program includes field trips, classroom projects and recreational activities on campus.


Participants must:


• be entering 7th, 8th, or 9th grade
• complete a 300 to 500 word essay, typed and doublespaced, describing their interest in transportation
• have a 70 percent GPA
• include one letter of recommendation from a math or science teacher
