Office of the Pre-Professional Program

Welcome to the Pre-professional Program (PPP) at Morgan State University. Typically called the Pre-Health Office at other institutions, the PPP function is the same. The PPP is designed to provide relevant opportunities for exploration, professional development and engagement through pre-health experiences for Morgan students.

Most if not all pre-health students desire to pursue professional and graduate level degrees upon completion of their undergraduate coursework at MSU. Therefore the PPP facilitates access and an understanding of information, admission requirements and pipeline programs that will equip students with the knowledge required for varied paths to professional and some graduate schools. For the past academic year, with the strategic assistance of the PPP both traditional as well as transfer students have been accepted into professional and graduate schools that include Pharmacy, Medicine, Physician Assistant, Dentistry, Public Health, and Engineering Science. Some of our students have also gained employment as research associates or assistants at both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations and corporations.
