ENTR 384: Entrepreneurial Opportunity Recognition

Three hours; 3 credits. This course examines the theory and practice of entrepreneurial opportunity recognition. Students will learn about and practice applying active search, passive search, fortuitous discovery, creation of opportunities, and effectuation. Students will use multiple opportunity recognition processes to identify and evaluate an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the relative merits of different approaches.
